Cyperus Profiler

An attractive and easy to grow plant for moist areas and ponds.

It is the papyrus species that is between the dwarf Haspen and taller Egyptian.

Can be grown in semi submersed conditions to allow the attractive tufts to be above the water. Can grow up to 1 metre in the right conditions.

An aquatic plant that has a lovley creeping opportunity.

Grows up to 5 cms. with tufted deep green leaves

Keep full or partly submerged with lots of light to draw out the deep green colours.

Water Parsnip 

Berula erecta

A beautiful upright growth with colourful stems and sweet cream flowers.

Best grown in shallow water or remain in very moist soils.

Fabulous choice to add to your ponds to keep your water nice and clean.

Swamp Pennywort

A perennial herb with glossy green heart shaped leaves

Creates purple or white flowers though late summer through to autumn.

Small rounded fruit containing seeds. Best grown in wet soils or partly submerged in water.

Ordduffia reniformis 

A great aquatic plant that has glossy oval shaped deep green floating leaves.

Ideal for submersion in a pond where the leaves float on top of the water and produce pretty yellow flowers on tall stems.

Loves sun which will assist to bring out the flowers.

Corkscrew Rush

A most attractive and easy to grow plant for moist areas and ponds

Produces tight clumps of spiralling deep green leaves up to 40 cm tall

Perfect for pond-side and rockery plantings and as an interesting specimen plant in and around water features

Hardy and loves both sun and part shade.

Attractive plant with narrow green leaves which support taller leaves producing a yellow orchid like flower on the stems up to 40cm tall

Best if submersed in water up to 5 cm deep 

Best suited in a sunny or partly shaded position where maximum light will assist in the gorgeous flowering.

Unusual cylindrical deep green hollow leaves

Has a wonderful creeping habit and loves to grow in semi submerged wet soils.

Loves sunshine to ensure purple flowers will blossom. Can tolerate semi shade.

Golden Variegated Sweet Flag 

Acorus gramineus Ogon

An attractive and unique variegated narrow yellow and green leaves. Can grow up to 20cm tall.

Best in wet soil, partly submerged in a pond or any water source.

Grows well in both a partly shaded or sunny position which will help to produce yellow flowers and red berries in spring and summer. 

A wonderful addition to a pond with its striking colours. 

Pink Heather 

Rotala Rotundifolia 

Has beautiful pink, purple flower petals on upright stems.

Clumping foliage with flowers that continuously reshoot.

Grows best in full sunlight and needs and loves being partly submerged in water.

A charming little plant that is great for walk ways, entrances, rock areas and paths or simply in a pot. From large group of annuals and perennials in the iris family. Giving a grass-like appearance grow from thin rhizomes that gradually spread outward from the clump. Individual Star like flowers appear with the most beautiful violet/blue colour.

Ficinia nodosa

Australian native tussock grass, fabulous planted around ponds, water features and dry creek beds. Excellent filtration, grows well in free-draining sandy soils and pots in formal outdoor areas. Hardy grass suited to most soil conditions, will tolerate frost, drought and saline soils.
